When applying for a place in Scouting within our District we strongly recommend that you choose two groups. This gives a better chance of us being able to offer you/your child a place.

If your son/daughter is on our waiting list, unfortunately it is impossible for us to give an accurate estimation of when they will get a place due to the constant fluctuations in the list. Please bear with us, we will let you know as soon as a place becomes available.

Once a space becomes available in one of your chosen groups, we will attempt to contact you using your preferred method up to three times. If we receive no response then you/your child will be removed from our waiting list; for this reason it is vital that you let us know if your contact details change. Our waiting list secretary can be contacted on 07516 046815 (6-9pm weekdays only please), if there is no one available to take your call please leave a message and we will aim to reply within 5 working days.

Once you/your child has been offered a place in a Group, we cannot automatically transfer them to another Group. However they will automatically be given a place in the next section (age range) within the same group (provided that they stay) once they reach the correct age.
